Thread: Naming Droids bugged?

I have been trying to name my Protocol droid but it doesn't work (he doesn't have a personality chip installed). He does recognize the command but still he won't rename. It worked a few weeks ago with my Probot. Is naming bugged?

Couple of annoying rules:
-no numerals or symbols although a dash (-) is ok
-its case sensitive
-they have some odd restrictionson names. Once it wouldnt let me have the word "medical" in it but "medi" was ok

I just realised it said protocol not probot. You cant name protocols yet because of the way the command programming is set up through conversation as opposed to raidal menus.

You can not name any of the "walking/talking" droids. It is a known bug. Dont look for it to be fixed any time soon. It was introduced in september and is low on the devs priority.
