I've been thinking a lot about advertising lately. With limited resources, especially for those of us with limited Merchant skill, there isn't much we can do short of hollering in every city we enter (dangerous in PCs) or have patrolling billboard droids. I once had a billboard droid in Bestine stating "Droidwerx Batteries" soon being followed by another droid stating "Droidwerx sucks" (very classy, Jyokker).

What can we do, that benefits us all, wherever we are?

The answer is the question: "Got 'Droid?"

On our factories, on our harvesters, on our billboards, right before what we normally place on them. This simple question will keep droids in people minds as a necessary component of the game life. It doesn't disparage other crafters/professions and it promotes ALL DEs wherever they are.

Yes, it's a rip-off of "Got Milk?" but I get the feeling that won't matter except in repetition of that RL ad campaign's success.
