Hello all DE and non-DE in the forum, Drashk and TH respectively,

I propose as a community that we all try to change the way we use the DE forum. SOE has done a wonderful job of listening to the community forums. I see good things happening based on player thoughts. It seems that the players are now the ones getting behind. The DEVs are focusing on Publish 8 at this time. Publish 7 is pretty much set and they are just "polishing" it a little for publish. Most people seem to be dwelling on Publish 7 even though it is pretty much set in what will be in it, while we should be concentrating on ideas for publish 8 before the DEV team is set on what will be in it. With all the energy spent on negativety towards "Poor DE's got left out" and all the posts about "I quit" I see no fair way for the DEVs to actually consider giving any thought to DE's at all. There are a good bunch of proud DE's that don't get there oppinion in view of the DEV and DE public because there are so many negative posts that who in there right mind would consider reading past all them for 1 good idea. I think Drashk should be deleting any post or message that is someone quitting. That is not at all relevant to the forum. Maybe they will make a Profession Burial forum so we don't have to read it here anymore. After TH posted what was in the plans for Publish 8 regarding utility modules for current droids, I think that should be of the most concern to us as a community. Maybe we can get Drashk to start a poll. I will post some ideas in my next message. For now I bid you farewell and hope that you will all think about this and help make this forum more productive for SOE and the Players.

The forum has been pretty nice the last few days, with some nice threads about new modules (Kollo's series). I love this new tone, without so hard flammings and such.

BUT I like to know about old well-known DEs quitting. Some of them were already here when I first came, and some of them answered my first newbie questions, so I love to wish them good luck.

As long as they dont post things like "I quit cos no droidekas, this profession sucks and you are all stupid to hold on it" I dont think "Goodbye posts" have nothing worng

PS: I doubt Drashk can delete messages

I agrre to that point Neroir, Maybe we can havea stickied "Retired Master" for the DE forum.. Kinda like some forums have a Master List.
