I started artisan yesterday with the aim of becoming a droid engineer and I've already hit Engineering 4 and Surveying 4. I recognize the value of the business line (well, to 3 anyway) for getting a vendor. Is there any advantage for a DE to climb the Domestic Arts tree or to becoming a master artisan? My understanding is that droid experimentation is a seperate thing from artisan experimentation so I'm not sure there is any value to going all the way to master artisan. Opinons?

You HAVE to go to Master Artisan. Why? Cuz most of the subcompnents you need you can only make at Master Artisan. So plan on going all the way.

You'll need loads of Master Artisan parts. You'll either need to befriend a Master Artisan to sell you schematics for them, or take it up yourself. You can't get by as a DE without the Master Artisan EGP's, Mem Modules, and Control Units.

Not to mention micro sensor suites to put some of those control units into. Damn probots.

Still trying to figure out what the hellschematic those Neimodian bird cages go into....
