Thread: Trying to grind DE cant get macro to work?

i followed the instructions in the stickied post..but i can't get the right schematic number and cant figure out why?? I'm a Master Artisan / Master Architect / Novice Droid Engineer.
I have counted in the D pad from 00.. and skiped all schemtics over lvl 20 and ones that require specialized crafting tool other then the General/W/D.. and this is not working...... also tried just counting from 00-257,,,did not work.... tried counting from 00-XX and only removing schematics that are above lvl 20 
i have no clue what to do please, any help would be appreaciated! thanks

Make sure you haven't sorted your schematics in the datapad. they need to be in their "default" order.
If you think the schematic you want is, for example, schematic #86, and you put that into your macro -- try the macro to see exactly what #86 turns out to be.
is #86 a schematic that comes *after* the one you want?
then try #76 (for example). #76 still too high? subtract another 10. too low? add 10. 10 too much? try 5.
It's the Principle of Ever-Diminishing Circles, which is my primary method of finding the grocery store.
The order is not always immediately obvious, and the schematics, even in the default order, are not always in order. Please keep in mind, I haven't ground anything in quite a while, so YMMV.

thanks.... I did sort the data pad btw ....someone suggested it .....
your suggestion make sense and are apreciated..... i'm glad i never did a holo grind....lol
