Do you get exp for what they make, or are you out of luck, lossing exp for using them?

I tested it 3 months after release and it wasn't giving any xp. If it has changed, I haven't noticed (nor cared).

eh, I could be wrong, haven't been able to get any more xp since around october. I know you're supposed to get 10% (but you had to be online and near you're factory when it finished or something), just never seen it actually happen.

....and standing facing due North, while only having 4 items equipped and none of them could be anything covering your upper body and your default language had to be Bothese....

No you don't. I use factories all the time and get nada. This was discussed on another forum, and someone stated that in a recent patch they took away the XP award again. I don't recall seeing it in a patch tho. But regardless, it doesn't give you even 1 XP.

Yeah. I seem to recall that after launch it was bugged and people weren't getting their XP, but I'm relatively sure I've been getting something from my factories. I have well over 100,000xp and the majority of what I do is through my factories.
I'll try to make time to test it tomorrow so I can be sure.
