Bounty Hunter Jedi Tracking Missions: Now, Bounty Hunters can track player Jedi in the same manner as their NPC targets. Bounty Hunters can get a mission from the bounty hunter terminal for a player Jedi. Go to your contact to get the bio-signature. Then just use your seeker/probot droid to find your target. Keep in mind that unlike the NPC targets, players will move around unpredictably. As a result, the location updates can lag behind a couple of minutes.) Additionally, Bounty Hunter tracking speeds have been fixed and now as the hunter increases in skill, the speed skill will increase.

I have two thoughts on this:

1. There goes one of the last bits of roleplaying in the game. Granted, I've never been a bounty hunter, but trying to track down a Jedi through bribes or general sneakiness sounds pretty cool to me.

2. 5k for droids + 25k in shuttle fees = roughly 125k profit. Anyone else feel like raising prices?

No one has an opinion? I though this was big news.

As long as they keep exploiting it, it will not create a new market
*prays that bug will be fixed*

It IS great though

Well, for one thing, I will charge double for all of these droids, if I even sell them anymore. As a wookiee, I have a long life, and remember the republic before its downfall. I want the Jedi to flee, escape, and hopefully return to prominence as the defenders of justice.

In fact, I want to make a seeker jammer droid that I can get smuggled to the Jedi. This would give the smugglers something to truly smuggle, as they are inventory items that must be gotten to the jedi through whatever means possible. They will be scanned at every starport and shuttleport, instead of just at the cantina, and will be highly illegal. Once the jedi has them in his possession, they will send duplicate bio-signatures based on the experimented quality of the seeker-jammer droids, up to five duplicate bio-signatures.

So there you go.

Hehe, I stopped selling BH droids long ago (just not worth the EMM's and EGP's), so can someone please edify me and tell me what the seeker exploit is?

Once a Bounty Hunter reaches Investigation3 they pick up a new ability called something like"Seek and Track" which replaces the ability they've been using up until that point. The problem is that when a Seeker Droid is used with this new ability, the last charge is never removed, so the Bounty Hunter can just keep using that last charge over and over.

Honorable Bounty Hunters who are aware of the bug simply delete the Seeker droid after using the last charge. The problem is that many Bounty Hunters simply aren't aware of the bug and can easily abuse it many times before noticing that something strange is going on. They might be carrying 5-6 crates of Seekers on them, so have no reason to check their inventory every time they complete a mission.

The Devs are supposedly aware of it, and one can only hope that they're working on a fix.

Yeah, this will be a nice bump for us if they fix the Seeker Droid exploit at the same time.

On a DE perspective: Yes, I will raise prices. They will start paying now you bet.

On a BH/Jedi perspective: Awesome! They've been promising this for a while, and have stated that BH's would be the anti-Jedi profession. About time they start doing it. I'm neutral towards both, but the Jedi need some sort of balance in place to keep their numbers low. This is a time, remember, when Jedi are supposed to be extinct.
