Thread: Doh! *Shakes fist at SOE*
I built a big run of droids, using most of my resources and cash. 1) Does the lvl6 medical module give a healing bonus IN hospitals?
AFAIK, pre-patch when someone ran into a hospital with droid with say 50 medical rating, it would overwrite the rating of the hospital (which of course annoyed doc's and healée's to no end). Post-ptach, my little brother who plays a medic, tells me a medical droid won't work in a building (may of course have been that waypre-patch aswell, as he just got the droid and I havn't touched medic beyond novice healing myself). So no.
Well thnx for the reply Caix, honestly though, I spent quite a while figuring out the best droid to make some money on. After all, combat droids are pretty useless and crafting droids are, well lets face it, there aren't that many crafters out there and very few of us make a lot of money. Between the low number of high paying customers and having to step around a million bugs to get out a finished product it's a wonder anybody finds this a viable profession.
Here's another question then:
Post the basics of the droids you sell that, well sell You know, what kind of chassis and what modules. That way, mabye next timeI do a run, I won't be shooting myself in the foot.

Here is a list of droids that I sell. I sell 2 or 3 of each everyday.
MSE med 1, MSE storage 1, DZ70 Combat Droid, Arakyd, Seeker, R5 data, R5 storage, R5 medical, R4 data, R4 storage, R4 medical
R2 Weapons craft, R2 Food Craft, R2 Cloth Craft, R2 Structure craft, R2 Med, data, storage, LE Combat Droid, LE Repair Droid
Treadwell storage, Treadwell med, Probot armor 4, Probot amor 5, Probot armor 6, all droid Chasis, Power Droid, Protocol, Droid,
R2 Astromech (adv repair, med, storage, combat data)
I have found by keeping large volumes on my vendors people tend to by more, I also make sure I keep plenty of storage compartments, batteries and now repair tools. People will travel far to buy things from you as long as you never have an empty vendor.

My best seller has been a little droid I call the MedMax6 R2.
He's got level 6 data/medical/storage, food/chemical crafting module, droid repair module, and level 6 armor. (I paid for those composite segments, might as well use them)
When I got hawking them, I throw in five free batteries and a paint job, plus a kit. All for 35k.
