Do surgical droids need med modules? or do they inherantly have med capabilty. I currently have one with med 4 module. I have 4 or 5 med droids my best one is an old R5 with 45 med but it can called and stored anywhere without a camp or town, must be a prepatch deal.

No, storage modules do not currently work in Surigcal droids. This is still a known bug.
