Hello all,
I'm currently grinding the blueprint tree of my Alt just to make droid chassis to support my main character who is an Interior Designer. My question(s) to everyone is (are):
1) are there any "special" resources I need for the different CHASSIS?
2) with the up coming Publish update, will I need to get any other skill trees besides the Blueprint tree in order to produce all the chassis?
I'm am NOT attempting to be another MDE. I just want to be able to offer more "Custom" furniture to my clients. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Try swgcraft.com.
There are some rare steels (Duranium and Ditanium)you'll need for the BLL and Protocol Chassis, those are the only 2 I can think of ATM with named resources.

The blueprint tree is the only one you need to move up. You will get all the Chasis that we can make from the R4 to the BLL. Resources you will need the Ditanium and Duranium Steels. Those are the most specific resources. The rest is just Metal, Non-Ferrous Metal, Ferrous Metal, Some Copper for the brains. Chemicals, Fiberplast, Polymer (for GPs and EMMs). Low grade-ore, Extrusive Ore, and Siliclastic Ore and Inert Gas.
All of which will take care of all the subcomponents, which you get in the Blueprints trees and Master Artisan.

Thanks for the quick responses. My alt's a Master Artisian so the sub-components are a snap. I also have a huge stockpile of Duranium and Ditanium Steels, so it looks like I'm in business. Only 400+ more advanced droid frames to go then until Blueprints IV

Is anyone interested in seeing some new droid chassis - while watching an R2 or R3 unit fire off a lightning bolt is very entertaining the Probot is the only chassis that LOOKS like a fighting droid - in the movies the R2 unit was good for slicing and info gathering, a general helping droid so thus give it roles that fit those ideals - but give us Combat Droids that Look like combat droids. Besides, I am getting bored with these chassis and just plain old want somethiong different to look at. everyone that i have sold droids to ask me what the best ones are and everyone says the same thing when i say that the R2 or R3 are better then the Probot because they have higher HAM and take the same number of combat modules (R3 actually takes more). It just doesn't feel right.
