I'm a touch confused about defensive modules post Pub 7. I understand that the max resists are now 20% / AR0 even though some droids are registering 40%. What does it take to achieve maximum droid armor now? One or two Lv6 modules?

Max armor (AR0, 20%) is achieved with 1 level 6 armor module. The 40% is a bug. And the bug is seen with both 1 and 2 level 6 armor modules.

So even with this publish they still didnt fix the armor mod stacking issue. This was the same prior to publish 7. I will stop wasting the extra armor then. Thanks Gately for the info.

Goran how can you be sure that it is a bug? I haven't read anywhere that the droids are supposed to have 20% resists. Everytime I examine my droids (1 armor module 6 or 2) it shows 40% resists. I think TK said that the resists should be 40%. TK you out there?? What's are the resists supposed to be and is this a bug or what?

Correction: sorry Goran just read TK's post that said the 40% resists are indeed bugged...and that the max % is 20. Ah well, this dissapoints me even more.

From what I have seen so far. when you prepare the droid, They show up at 20% resists, but once stored and recalled, they show up at 40%. This is with two armor 6 mods.
Anyone create a droid with only one armor 6 mod yet and what where the results?
I have only made the probot, R3, R2 so far with combat mods. same armor on all. same issue with having to store/recall the droid to get the 40% to show up.

I've been making all my droids with just 1 armor 6 mod and it still results in 20% resists upon first pull out of the deed, and then
each subsquent pull registers at 40%. I'm still unclear on whether or not this is intentional. There seems to be no advantage to
putting in 2 armor 6 mods.

OK, so that didn't really clear anything up for me I guess
SO, if I'm hearing you guys right, 1 Lv6 modules will give a droid the maximum armor rating of AR0, 20% resists. I could also achieve the same results with two Lv4 modules on the droids that allow for two defensive modules.
Because of a bug, at the moment, if you call, store, and call your droid again right after taming it, it will display AR0, 40% resists.
Now, is all of the above info correct OR are we unable to get a definitive answer because of the bug and no dev clarification? Frankly, I'd rather drop 2 Lv4s in an R3 over one Lv6 because the materials for a Lv4 are a lot easier to come by (1 named and some generics vs. 2 named, a composite segment, and some generics).

Still looking for clarification although I don't think we'll really know until the $0% bug is fixed...
