I promised I would go doctor, I really did. I even went and got the novice skills and spent some time working up the trees and crafted myself a droid and some tools...but the time has come and gone and I cannot release my Droid Profession.

What the heck is wrong with me?

you know im the same way I have been a MDE since 8/03 andI cant seem to give it up nomater what I do ...I just cant drop the skills /cry

*MainMor opens his eyes to find himself on a tropical beach with golden sands, waves of crystal blue water flow toward shore under a pink, cloudless sky, a Gas Giant planet fills the horizon. The gentle lapping of waves is interrupted by the footfalls of a Tall and leggy brunette, her raven black hair tied in a French pleat behind her, she is dressed only in a white bikini and a Droid engineers utility belt. She kneels down in the fine, warm sand and beckons him to her. As he sits in front and looks out to Sea, she massages his tired muscles with her strong, yet soft, fingertips and massages his chaotic mind with her words…*

It’s time to let go MainMor. The path to MDE is long and hard and requires constant attention. Once the seemingly endless grind is complete, the process of building our lengthy stocks of obscure resources and monitoring runs of hundreds of components is ceaseless and for what? To produce a product that is, at best, useful; but never essential. Once the spirit has had its fill of thankless toil it is time to move on but it is not always easy to switch off the constant pressure, the little voice that says ‘are you checking that you’re not missing any new resources that may have spawned? Shouldn’t you see if there are any new bugs you don’t know about? Have the Dev’s added any new material today? Are the factories still running or did you miss a component? Which of these tells will give me the Greatest reward? Which of these potential customers will tell the most guildmates? Should I be experimenting on Modules with these new resources?’. Leaving DE does not mean your time has been wasted, not at all. You have learned much, made many friends and proven yourself worthy to master any Crafting profession. You have worked the hardest and for the least reward.

It’s time to let go MainMor, free your inner self from the torture, use your time to help others, go my friend and enjoy the liberty, safe in the knowledge that you have earned your place in the Great Hall of MDE’s, for all time.
