Thread: I have now offcially joined you guys/girls
A word of advice: Find a Master (or near-master) DE in your area to mentor you through the grind, and if you haven't already, work on Master Artisan as well.

If you have any combat skills you should do artisan missions, I can pay maintance on 2factories 2personal chem, 1 solar, 3med mineral harvestors, and 2 personal minerals, in less than an hour, however I am quite high on the pistoleer chart, and I heard payouts are less for non-combat types I can get 1020-1800 per survey mission.
Before I was master and was grinding they didnt have the artisan missions so I was running the fedex delivery missions to pay for harvestors, I usually had 5 personals on steel and 2 on fiber w/ a couple of wind. I didnt start out with that many cause I couldnt always afford it but once you can get to adv driod frames things get better.
i'm novice Pistoleer as well as Novice DE
, also have some CH skills ![]()
Here's some products you'll want to sell later on. I find they're my primary Money-Makers.
1) Medical Droids. Absolutely the #1 biggest seller. Every single Medic will want one of these throughout their career, and as you skill up your module line, you'll be able to upgrade them to more and more useful modules. Good to put a Medical Module 1 into a Mouse Droid and sell them in Hospitals, reminding them that someday they can upgrade to a more advanced module in a flashier droid.
2) Crafting Stations. Again, these are really nice for crafters who don't want to be stuck inside their houses crafting all day. Try to sell them on the fact that they can pull them out in town or in a campsite and make items for customers right there on the spot.
3) Armored Probots. Every once in awhile, but nothing like they used to be. Still, they are a constant damage add.
4) Combinations. I sell a lot of Medical and Food/Chem Crafting droids, because for Medics they're a nice all-in-one droid. As a matter of principle, I don't sell them in anything less than an R5 unit, just for consistency.
5) Item Storage. One item may not seem like a lot, but you can still net a meager sum of credits for it, and you can throw it in the Mouse Droid.
6) Advertisement. Okay, this one requires a bit more Customer Relations work...craft a droid for a person, then call it and name it whatever the person would like to advertise, like "SuchandsuchSellingWeapons". Then, program the code for "point" and "patrol" for the person, then transfer it over to them. After that, forward them a mail message (pre-made that you wrote and sent to yourself) explaining how to use their Advertisement Bot, telling them to gather patrol points around the city, then let it go until you think it's low on power. You can do this for the Mouse Droid, but DZ70's actually work better. They're larger and float at eye level, so they're more likely to be seen. DZ70's come at the first level of blueprints.
You probably won't make money on droids till you grind up a bit.
My suggestion - get hold of some really good materials, and sell powerups. If you have a friend with a factory, experiment till you get a really awsome schematic, and then do a run of this schematic. It isn't droids, but it will help you get some money without having to do infinite missions while you grind.
