Thread: Point of a mouse droid?
It seems like you have a MSE with a data mod.. Currently data mods only hold schematics..
It was a bug/exploit that it could hold pets
You cant currently store WP's becuase the way it was programed you could also store missions on a data mod (also an exploit). So eventualy they will give back the ability to store WP's on them again (but not missions) but they had to take it out for now so people couldnt put missions on them untill they fix it (if they ever get around to it)...
But that is no guarenty that YOUR MSE will be able to hold WP's when they put that back in.. About 1/2 of the DE fixes (if you can call them that) only effect new droids, vs droids already in existance (this is why there are a few pre-ner Probots folating around right now)
Great. Thanks for the response, Kamaru. I was really just looking for a way for my droid to help me organize waypoints as I have quite a few now and they clutter my datapad where I mostly just want to see my pets and review their data. Appreciate the input.
Is there anything that a BH/CH could use a droid for currently that might help me out? I have 1/1/1/1 in medical and have heard certain droids have some sort of medical capability. Do they do anything else I could benefit from? Probots, R2's, or Protocol Droids?
Thanks for all the help
If you are leveling a combat skill, MSE droids rock. They are cheap and expendable. Group with the MSE droid in town, tell it to stay and then earn loads of extra exp. If I remember right, Tortor Bulls were worth around 2700-2800 solo, 3300 grouped with my MSE droid. Best 500cr I have spent.
Ok, checked the FAQ, pretty good info, but still leaving me with questions:
Medical Modules
All medical modules will allow you to use woundpacks without the need for a camp or hospital. They also affect the usefulness of the wound/stimpacks used in their vicinity. The Medical Capability Rating (MCR) of the droid is a direct percentage of the item's effectiveness. (Thus a Level 6 would actually BOOST the effectiveness)
Level 1: MCR 55
Level 2: MCR 65
Level 3: MCR 75
Level 4: MCR 85
Level 5: MCR 100
Level 6: MCR 110
I'm interested in this feature as it would be handy not to do a camp when I can whip out a droid or have him there ready to go. Do I need advanced medical skill to do this, or can anyone who can use woundpacks do this?
I'm currently 1/1/1/1 in medical field but will soon be giving it all up except for NOVICE MEDIC. Will this be enough to use this feature and warrant the purchase of a medical droid?
Also, can any droid be a medical droid or am I stuck with 2-1B?
Thanks
Any droid can be loaded with any medical module.
If your DE is not yet a master, and cannot make level 6 modules, two level 4 modules will also give 110% effectiveness.
ANY medical-trained character can take advantage of a medical droid, no advanced skills are needed.
A really useful adjunct to 110% medical droids is a food/chemical crafting module.
Awesome responses, guys. Really appreciate the help. Sounds like getting a med droid will be on my things to do next time I log on list.
Incidentally, anyone on Flurry a Master Droid Engineer and want some business for a top-flight med droid for me? Let me know here and/or in-game email. Appreciate it.
Thanks to all
Currently, he doesn't do anything for me. I once put a pet in him, but they changed the rules on that so I took him out. Now, I try to drag waypoints from my datapad over to his datapad and nothing happens. How do I store info in this little guy now? Are droids broken for the time being, or am I just unaware of how to properly use him? Also, I tried recharging his battery. It didn't seem to do anything at all.
Thanks all
