Sorry I got this message twice in a row the other night when I called my droid from the datapad, is there soemthign goign on here I am not aware of?

Droid customization is the paint job. It was in for a while back in beta but got pulled for release. They promised we'd get it in Septembers big patch, but it got pulled and they promised it for the next big patch in October, however we've yet to see it back on TC so we have to wonder how likeyl it'll be to get included.

Droid customisation was a little different in beta .. it didn't faid at all.

However, when they changed droids to deeds customisation was lost. To try and get it back, they tried to introduce a Droid customisation tool ... this tool was placed on test center and was allowing DE's to edit the colour of called droids (like image designers). The idea was that the colourisation fades over time so that the customer would eventualy have to come back to the DE to get a re-spray. However, the tool wasn't functioning right and as soon as a freshley painted droid was stored, the paint job vanished... so, they took away the tool but left the colour fade in (I guess since droids arn't coloured yet there is no harm in leaving that part in .. saves time for later when the tool comes back).
