Ok, uh dumb Novice Droid Engineer question, but i have been wondering for the past few days...

If you go into the water and your pet creature is following you it will swim, but what about pet droids?

Do they swim?

It's hard to call it 'swimming'... But they certainly do move through the water.

Pretty much, yeah. It looks OK for probots and DZ70s, I s'pose :-)

I need to see this now, too bad i'm on Tatooine right now...

You can, just check out one of the three bodies of water on Tatooine: south of Mos Eisely, west of Anchorhead or east of Mos Taike

What I find funny is that a droid that floats in the air... such as a Probot... is still shown as swimming when it crosses water. Just an observation.

Yup thats true, my probot floats accross about half immersed in the water..

My mouse (when I was a Novice DE) just rolled accross the bottom of it.. kinda freaky to watch

The droid just crawls along the bottom of the river. Guess they're waterproof.

If you group with your pet, or have it targeted when you cross water, you can see the little "swimming" icon appear on its health bar. So although it looks like your pet is hovering or rolling, it is indeed trying to swim
