Thread: 825=820? I lot of experimenting for nothing
Well I experimented for 2 nights trying to get my probots ham up, I get it up to 825 and it says that in the data pad and it said that in the deed form, but when I call it and hold my mouse over the bars it shows all 820. I knew somethings there was no point in experimenting, but didnt realize nothing is worth experimenting on
Granted 5 extra ham isnt going to make or break, but its about me trying to make a better droid and not being able to. If everyone makes the same whats the fun in that? How can I feel acomplished in making a better droid only to find out every stat is capped way to low.
Thanks for letting me vent
For what its worth, the damage upgrades that they get stay with them after the 'tame'. So the experimentation that went into it isnt all for waste. The best Ive built 71-87 (97% eff). The next jump i believe is 80-90 But Ive neer acheived id (100% is tough...)
hah! I got it 829 n00b!
/cry
Didn't your mom tell you if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything.
I never said that I made the best, I am just coming to the realization that there maybe no point in trying to make better, if everthing is capped like crazy. That is cool to know the damage stays though thanks for that information.

Yeah, i got my probot up to 100% says 70-80 then (73-83) damage. A guild member gave me some chemical thats 1000 oq. Funny when i try to make a regular probot, even using that chemical-i just get it onto the low 90's, but teh adv probot i go tthe 100%. I guessbecause the advprobot is a bunch of subcomponents and chemical only. Whereas the regular takes metal and such. So experiment with the adv for better results. What really gets me is that today an architect asked me for 50 HQ droid compartments. A pretty standard order for us DE's. The last time i made em, i wasnt master and didnt think anything unusual about only being able to experiment em with 6 points, but im a master DE now and it still only allowed me to use 6 points. Why is that? I used a metal with conductivity of 984(it asks for conductivity) and could only get a 71%quality
That would be because Droid compartments use Artisian experiment points and not DE. If your not a master Artisian then you won't have 10 points.
This is one of the proposed bugs that "might" get fixed next publish.
