Thread: Droid Customization follow vehicle customization??????
I just read on the main page the according to SOE people will be able to customize their own vehicle's.
My question is will people be able to use droid customization kits on their droids without have DE??? I'm sure people would more willingly buy droids if the could change the droid color back when it fades away and goes back to the auto color change.
I also read some of the FEW updates we are getting.
Is their a chance of opening the droids that have one general droid socket module cluster to allow one droid part for those DE that can't make General droid socket cluster module's?
I don't suppose they are going to get droids to display ALL module's inside of them yet???
I would like to state this now I'm feel sory for you guys I know it's going to take anouther update to refix the general droid socket module cluster to useable condition's
They also state that it is master artisans that can make "vehicle customization tools" and that anyone can use them.
Please only people that have eithor go though DE or at least even seen one in game make correct a post in DE forum
You do know what a Droid customization kit is and is used for that's why I asked if people will be able to use droid Customization kits to color their droid with out having to be a DE. As far as I know my friends still complain about the tools saying not having required skill to change. I have just verified it in game also because I made master and dropped it but still have a tool in my house.
Does anyone know if SOE plans on changingthe Droid Customization Kit's to be used by everyone in the game and not Just DE?

There's an exploit in the game that allows you to place socket clusters into module slots.
As for the customization kits, I wish the droid kits were implemented like the vehicle ones are going to be... another useful thing to sell and it would make my life easier.

Other than the fact that people might want to be able to color their droids without hunting down a DE , just as they'll be able to with vehicles.
Are they going to make it so that the droids that use socket clusters can accept a single service module, for those DE's who do not yet possess the skill to craft the socket clusters.
My answer: I highly doubt this change will be made, seeing as how we've not been shown any love since beta 1, and appear to be getting pushed aside again, so that people can customize vehicles instead.
I have no idea about the droid customization kits...however, I think there would be a greater market for them if all players could use them. I have a feeling that players wouldn't mind shelling out the credits to change their droid every now and again.
BTW, what does everyone sell their kits for? I figure 250cr per charge on mine...
well,
i believe the vehicle color tools will end up same useless like the droid ones, since they only last some lousy 20 around calls. the devs say vehicle color will also fade lol, so i promise you on day one u see all colored vehicles and then after 2 weeks all vehicles got same color again cause nobody will paint his car after like 20 calls, simply wasted money lol
dont know what the designers thought when making a 20 call limit on droid color but well they can program but not always think right sadly.
