I am not a DE, however last night I came up with an idea for droid eningneers. I think that they should be able to, depending in resources used, decide the damage types that their droids do. For example: Person A comes to you and orders a probot thatdoes stun damage, meanwhile person B wants a droid that does acid.Do youthink thisis a good idea? Also, they should be able to put different layers in droid armor(like armorsmiths can do.) so they can have a droid with even more protection against a different damage type. Add your thoughts, or bump me if you agree.

yeah, maybe-but the problem i have now is too many customizations. I try to bring a variety of droids into a starport, and usually sell a good lot of them. Its just that ill have a droid loaded exactly like a person wants but they want an r2 instead of an r3-or the protocol droid i have is perfect for someone, but they need a data mo9dule in lieu of storage. Yes I do go back to my shop and make a custom droid for peeps, but the time lost is money when i coulda been still yellin and sellin at starport. Ive thought about loading up crates of subcomponents and break out my crafting droid right there and custom making droids on the spot. Just havent gotten around to it. Im just saying that if they keep adding more and more customizations then us DE's will either be spending a lot of time on custom orders, or wasting a lot of resources guessing what droids to make and sell.

Take your own advice and bring a private crafting station droid with you. I build all droids on the spot (though I do keep some spares of the most popular models in stock). It makes for great business, as players get to choose what they want and can get their product right away.

That's my two cents anyway.
