Just popped in to say a few words.
Man, I am soooooo sorry to hear about this SAD invasion...
This is probably THE SADDEST AND MOST INCORRECTLY TITLED PUBLISH TO DATE.
Personally, I was expecting something like the pre-pre-patch probots (the ones with 3200 HAM) getting put back into the game and/or perhaps maybe a few new droids, but all you guys get is a SAD addition to what you currently have.
And I finally thought DE would be worth the time you guys spend grinding.
DE has been and STILL HAS the lousiest grind/reward ratio.
You guys spend more time than any other grinding profession to master it,yet your reward for Mastering it is PITIFUL!
SOE really needs to put priority in fixing the DE profession.
Again, I feel for you guys and I hope things will get better soon.

I just got the game over a week ago and I think I have choosen the 2 worst professions Droid Engeineer and Pistoleer...
*Sigh*
I wish I could build destoyer droids, or something :/ Heck I wish I knew what the purpose of droids in the game was, can they do anything?

my PA leader is MDE....and i gotta tell ya...i feel for you as well...i remember the glorious days where a probot still meant something and could hurt a fambaa enough so that you could solo it w/ ur n00b skills. Lets hope that the devs realize that they havent done crap for you guys and lets get some new droids! (btw...that poster looked so cool...yet nothing u c in it will b ingame...ever)

Actually,I read soemwhere on here, that those droids in the wallpaper are in the Corellian Corvette, but if we could make them, man, I would be playing right now instead of posting.

Super Battle Droid (the silver things from Ep. 2) on the Corvette: 140k HAM (most resists were 75-100%)
I don't think we will see those numbers if we can ever make either of these..but they sure put a smack down on me (one shot, everytime).
P.S. The Corvette is really fun...but it's insanely hard.

Thansk for the verification TK, but I wasn't saying we would make those 40k+ HAM death droids, just the droid model, with combat-only functionality would be cool, ham around the new LE's and attack capabilities on par with the R3's, the armor could stay though, remember how those things went down in the movies? Single blaster bolts son.

Thats absurd. Players have been asking for these as pets since launch. Why would they do this TK? I ask you because your the only one close enough to them to explain it. I am baffled that they did this. I'm not flaming here I'm seriuosly curious. Can you give us any insight as to what they were thinking?
BTW I don't envy your position atm
