Hi everyone, I've crafted the levels 1- 6 Flight Computers but I can't add them into any of the droid sockets as modules, is there something I need to do with them before I can add them?? Maybe something to do with these Unprogrammed Droid Modules??

Also, what do you generally charge for Astromech droids?? Same for each levels??

What droid are you trying to use? Some require you to use a 'cluster' to put the modules into first and then put the cluster into the droid. Also, for astromechs, that cluster has to be a combat-capable cluster, not the general one.

Check in the crafting tool what each slot requires.

The Flight Computers are used by Imperials and are ready to be used if you have the right pilot skills. The Data Modules are the ones that go in to droids and are used by Rebels. As for the Unprogrammed Chips.. well i am not sure about those.

So can you explain how I make Astromech droids?? Say an Advanced R4 droid??

I have Unprogrammed Droid Chips and Flight Computers, so what part do I put into the droid??

I've seen droids with droid Certifications in them, do I need to have the flight comp initialized before I can put them in??

I need more of an explanation, not really understanding what you mean??

Take a look at the DE 101 thread, if you haven't already. There is a lot of information that can be found there to help you learn the profession.

Flight computers are independent units for holding programs.

Data Modules are installed in droids for holding programs.

You need to put Data Modules in a droid (usually a R series droid). They come in levels 1-6 and once put into the droid they become Astromech droids. Just experiment you will get it.
