Thread: Bomb Droid Explanation Request

I'm returning to SWG after a L O N G time being away and I was wondering some information about the explosive droids.
1. How much damage does a maxed out R3 do? (average)
2. What are some common situations in which they are most often used?
3. What are the strats for using them?
4. Does the player take damage from the explosion?
5. Do all mobs in the range of the explosion take the same amount of damage?

1. about 150-200 points of damage (raw blast damage) per detonation point. Figure a good R3 has anywhere between 53-58 (max of 60) so you can do the math.

3. send droid in before target knows you're there and blow it.
4. Anything attackable by the owner within 18m of the droid (and not the owner itself)
5. Not necessarily, it seems the closest mob recieves the most damage, then after that its randomly distributed at somewhat of a lower rate.
