Would a combat droid built with all combat type modules do well as a grouping pet for the sake of getting better missions?

Yes, get a full Probot, they work best.

How much do they typically run credit-wise?

Ahazi is fairly close to my server, but I can't say for sure. Plan on about 70-80k for a good one. Really depends on your server though, could be more or less.

Thanks. Hopefully that will help out with my fs grinding. The changes to group rewards has hurt my ability to gain credits while I grind. Hopefully that will help a little.

Just keep an eye on his "con" level. As soon as its White or worse its no point grouping before you pick the missions. It will actually drag you down in the payouts.
