Hi guys. I'm writing here in hopes of getting some advice for a couple of non-working combat droids. I don't know much about the profession and unfortutately droid engineers are really hard to find for me as of late so I haven't be able to get help in game.
I play on 3 servers. I'm not hardcore, jusr for fun and because I like to play character diversity. well all three of my guys have combat droids but only 1 actually attacks. I'm not sure why this is.
I have one macro set up for guard, follow, group and attack. All saying to pet.All 3 follow the other commands to group etc, but only 1 follows the command to attack. This is kind of confusing. I've consulted the droid vendor/ maker but with no reply. I was hoping to get some help here. Perhaps it needs some type of laser weapon or something installed? A chip of some kind? If this is the case can I install these without damaging the droid or doI need an engineer?
Thanks in advance for your help guys. I've had no luck in game finding a remedy so your advice is greatly appreciated.

The droid does need combat modules. You can check too see if he has these by looking at the details of the droid in your datapad and looking for a damage/speed rating or attack command. If these aren't listed then he's not combat capable. You cannot add modules to the droid after its made, so you will need to get a new droid if they're not combat capable.

You need to actually program the attack command into the droids, it wont be there until you do that.

all of the above are correct. ive noticed that some of the droids i have made exert the same behavior. i have found that if your droid is indeed combat capable and you have programmed it before then you can try 2 things.
1. re-charge the droid even if it seems to be charged
2. re-program it
these usually work
