I am a medic with a newly purchased R5 medical droid. I have programmed its name and the follow me commands. How do I program the befriend command? I have tried various ways and none seem to work. Anyone know?

It's the same as all the others:
You pull down the command bar and select Befriend
the droid responds with: ?
you say befriend
the droid says: !
now you click on the person you want it to befriend and say befriend
it's now his friend

The person who is a friend of the droid can give it commands.

I know all you pro's out there will think I'm an idiot, but could someone tell me how to program my droids. I just built a DZ-70 with a Merchant Barker Module. I went into Theed and I tried to set up Patrol Points but I don't know how to do it. Also, how do you load the Vendor Waypoint into the Droid. My idea was to use it to advertise my vendor but I'm not sure how to make it happen.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Do you have Merchant Advertising IV? That's a common mistake because it wasn't listed in the patch notes.
To make it patrol, just walk to the patrol points and say out loud the command for "Get Patrol Point" at each one while you have your driod called. (You can find the commands in the datapad by doing List Commands. When you give the command your system message should say "Patrol Point Acknowledged.") Then say out loud the command for "Patrol." Make sure your droid has power.
