Hi guys and gals,
I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me on this one. Im looking to make some high end combat modules and I have tried lots of different aluminiums and inert gasses but I havent found a really good combo. Can anyone give me some suggestions please?
Many thanks

Every server has different resources, so unless another DE from Intrepid answers, i can only give you generalizations
The easiest thing to do is go into your options-> interface screen, and at the bottom, click on the resource stats indicators for Conductivity, and OverallQuality. Thse are the 2 stats that matter for almost ALL droid parts. Then just browse thru your resources, and find the one that has the highest # on it. The number = the avg CD/OQ which = how well your combat modules will be.
Hope that helps

Copper is usually the best for Conductivity, but you need to make sure that it also has high OQ also. (if I remember correctly the Polysteel Copper has the highest Con of copper)
The Inert Gas is easy cause all you need to find is the highest quality one since theyare notconductive. Also if you need Fiberpast/Chem the same goes for it, highest OQ.

As was said, Copper is probably your best bet. Each resource type has caps on certain stats, meaning Iron may have higher Unit Toughness, but it's Conductivity wont be as high as Copper.
The only exceptions that you may want to check out are the newer ship resources. The Perovostic Alluminum, Bycarb Steel, and Hardened Arveshiam steel don't have the standard caps. You "may" find them better. Again this is server dependent though.

Yes the other posters are corect above. I got lucky and found some polysteel copper with 960ish OQ and CD, and some gas with OQ in the high 900's at the same time. my harvesters were running full tilt on those spots that week. with those 2 materials i can make combat modules in the mid 80's with only 7 experimentation points. I also recently found a hardened ashiniumsteel with 850ish OQ and CD.

If you sent Cablekller in game email, i can name you the resources.
