Yeah, it's Advertising 4, but using one is a pain in the ol' wazoo. Not only do you have to be logged on to have it working, but you also have to go to where you want the droid, set up it's patrol points (if you want if to walk around), then you have to record the message you want the droid to say, plus you have to make sure it has plenty of power otherwise you can't even record the message. Personally, it's not worth it to me, but go for it. I've noticed that most people have simply gone back to sitting down and shouting their ad themselves. The devs might want to take notice of that and do something to change the droid barking to make it more user friendly.

And on top of all that, the message it barks can only be about128 characters long, if I remember correctly. When I used mine the first time, I had to retype the message 3 times because I kept going over the limit.

Currently, the only benefit the droids give over normal spaming is that they can give out datapad waypoints. And that's not much of a benefit since you can include waypoint numbers in your own spiel.

And they can walk around if you setup patrol points, but again, not enough of a benefit.

I recently bought a barker droid that i was going to dump in mos eisley to do the advertising for me.I have tried to get the bugger going but i cant seem to be able to. How do i program him to give a waypoint or to shout out stuff? Is it merchant skills?

I just want ot be able to use him and not have just blown 10k on a useless heap of scrap metal.
