Thread: A question concerning Maintenance Droids

Edit just lets you delete structures.Simply go to the perform maint run option, select your structur,e tell it how much, then when you hgave all the structures setup, tell it to go.The big catch is if you destroy a structure, you need to remove it from the Droid FIRST. If you don't then you may lock up the module and you wont have any of the maint options.
And if you do how do you unlock it, cause I can't get into mine.

I've got a theory on that one... I think if you delete all the structures on the droids list it may unlock itself... Not sure if thats an option for you though. If it is and it works please let me know so I know if my theory on that is right.

I didnt realize these modules were fixed, I thought they were still bugged.
Depends on which bug you're talking about (they've got a couple of them). They currently work, though if you deleat a structure without making sure its been removed from the droids list first the maintenance part of the droid gets broken.

Thats the problem. I can't get into the maintenence list to delete the structures that were removed from planets.
I don't know how else to do it. I also cannot get into to do a maintenence run.
Any suggestions?

This is a known issue with the Maintenance Droids. If a structure is re-deeded / deleted before it is removed from the maintenance list, mayhem ensues. The module is rendered useless due to an issue with the Maintenance menu listing. In place of the deleted structure, an blank line is introduced into the maintenance menu. This blank entry plays havok with the module and does not allow it to function correctly. If you were able to bring the menu back up, and delete the blank entry, then the module would function as normal.
The blank entry also has the same effect on perfoming a maintenance run as well.
To learn more on how to possibly bi-pass the disabled module, look here. The suggested method of fixing the module does not always work for everyone. I've only been able to reproduce the fix about 1 out of every4 times that I try it.

I actually meant manually destroying the structures (or re-deading them).
