Am I loopy, or did the Advanced R4 unit I made today come out with ZERO percent for all stats?

And, how come his item storage capacity doesn't show up on the deed? I put a WDG station, level 3 item module, and repair module in him. I didn't tame him - he's on sale on my vendor.

Its because the only component you put into the final product (besides armorand modules) is the chassis. The attributes of the chassis have already been taken into account when you made it.

How does armor work on them? I put two level 3 armor modules in another Advanced R4 I made, and it came out with armor ratings of 25 percent, but one level 3 armor module in a probot I made gave it a rating of 40% to resists... Wish I was home so I could tell you if it's light or medium rating.

Do you know what chemical you were using for the final assembly? I had the exact same problem occur to me last week and couldn't figure it out at the time, though I suspect it was caused by my resources.

As for saying that the 0's are ok because it only is showing the final assembly, I've not had this happen with other droids. They all had some form of stats after the assembly, so after this happened twice in a row I just chucked it and sold the client an R2 for the same price.

Actually, its been said the reason advanced R4s come out with 0 percentages is because only components are used for the final combine. As for the armor modules, they came out probably around 14 or 22 percent effectiveness - I'm not about to experiment with only one point and a 56% chance of failure.

I see what you mean now. I had forgotten that there are no resources at all involved in the final stage.

I wonder if that's intentional or not. It would seem odd if its working as intended. Even the advanced R5 needs resources in the final assembly.

It seems to me they did that (and came up with socket clusters for R2s/R3s) because they don't want any combine to use more than ten slots. Would make sense why they have you make a droid chassis first...
