Thread: Extrusive ores

On Naritus there is a ~3 day old extrusive ore vein on Talus (Dearic port).

I set up my medium a few days ago on it, whenI came back tonight there were like 25 little extractors on it that all said Imperial Mineral Extractor, as well as about 20 aggro creatures that killed me and my hound as I tried to get at my ore. Luckily, my probot survived.

So git on it!

I'm on Naritus on Corellia and I've gotten Intermedite Droid blueprints. Nearly all the new droids require the manipulator arm set which requires extrusive ores. I recall seeing some early on (a few weeks ago) but I haven't managed to find a location with any.

Anybody know what the deal is with these?

All resources shift. It is a common thing. You just need to keep you eye open for materials you will need and grab them while you can.

yeah extrusive ore is not always on my galaxy either.. best thing you can do now is once there is some.. stock up.. I hear tell its currently on Dantoine on my server so its gonna be expensive this time around, but i have to stock pile it. its required for the BH probe bots too.

And jeez, just how hard is it going to be with Extrusive rare in the first place to get the Indium(sic) Extrusive for level 5-6 storage modules.

Guess I need to head over to my galaxies' forums and see what people there can tell me about local availability.

Thanks,

You could also check the bazaar... Select "Entire Galaxy" and look for your ore. You can make the purchase remotely, but have to go to the point of origination to actually pick up the ores.

(This can also be a hint of what materials have spawned where)

after reading this board for awhile now. (tech support is boring waiting for computers to restart) I have heard people saying that Extrusive ore is a problem to get. For the past two weeks now I have set up a harvester on a 40% vein and now have like 10K in Extrusive. I will keep up mining extrusive ore untill it once again in impossible to mine and pray that my stash will holds out.

Yes, the Lidrium Extrusive Ore is indeed a pain to get. When it popped on our server, my guildmate and I ran to Dantooine to get it - and we harvested it for 3 days or so to get it.

I have a list of the specific types of materials I need for the advanced items - that way when something pops I can scan the list and see if I need it, and if so, I scurry off to get a horde of it. You should become a packrat - the Duralumin aluminum I stashed away a month ago I was just able to use in making level 6 Medical modules. Unfortunately it's almost gone, but hey, I HAD some!
