Hi all,

I'm new to this DE professions just got novice about a day ago. I was just wondering what you suggest for me to advance. For the moment i have about 6 harvesters and 3 wind generator to maintain to get some ressources and be able to craft. It takes me about 2 hours each time i logg in to go around, put some power in, some maintenance in and get the ressources. 2 hours that would be better spent crafting to make my way up to MAster DE.

ANy advice ????

Thanks in advance

I can only tell you what I did.

I had (still have) 7 Heavy mineral extractors, 1 Chemical Extractor and 1 Fusion-Ion Generator.

Put them in at least a 65% spot and let them run for about 2 days..

Grind out the Toasters (MSE) until blueprints II, or III can't remember which, I'm at work now.. But the one where you get to make Adv Droid Frames

Then grind those until Master. Keep on maintaining the harvesters, they're your lifesblood until master, from there you can switch the harvesters to extract particular resources you may need for the more "advanced parts"

(By the way, I also have a large house I use to contain all the different parts and pieces for crafting, so I had to borrow lots from guildmates to have that many extractors running.

So that's my side! Good luck and welcome to DEing!

More in depth- I had the mineral extractors pumping out junk steel, and the chem pumping out junk fiberplast.. that's all you need for Adv Frame Units

Again, good luck!

yep. 48k to get to lvl1, and there is no faster way..

There is a market for droids. It's dependant on your resourcefulness, and your ability to schmooze. There are quite a number of bugs and busted stuff in our profession, but I have been known to make 300k in a few hours or so...

Just be creative.

There is a little light about midway through the tunnel, once you get to bp 3 and then a couple of the other skill bars (the two columns on the left side of the tree), you can start your buisness selling the arakyd prope droids, and adv r4 units are a life saver. Also people really like the adv dz70s. For most on here it is small change, but I can make 100k in a couple of hours building and sellling droids. I have made a couple of levels now just creating droids to sell instead of doing the boring grinding. I make 15 to 20 droids and sell them on the public vendor for 3k and keep some others to peddle around for 5k and after a while word of mouth gets around and people will start /tell you for a specific droid. Actually this profession is really getting to be a blast.

Hey if you think grinding MSE droids is painful, just wait til Master where you have to pass a Probot chasis out your ass. It's totally worth it though because when you make MDE your RL Johnson grows to 16 inches.
