I was out and about, doing my Droid Engineerly chores. Decided to stop by and get a few sales in at the Coronet starport. So I hopping of my Speederbike to speak with potential clients I noticed that it waited for a few seconds, and turned around, AND TOOK OFF! By itself.. I'd have been angry we're it not so funny.. It just sped off into the distance as if it had prior engagements that apparently didn't involve me. (Not like I'm the one who PAYS to have it repaired, least it could have done was ask if I wanted to go)

Maybe it's just my sense of humor, but this struck me as funny.. Anyone else noticed anything off the wall that you had no control over? Post them here. I'm at work. I REALLY need to laugh.

I've had the same thing happen to me on a number of occassions. The first time I saw it, I wondered if some Imperial spy hacked my Swoop's negative power coupling to give them navigation override.

I've also had the vehicle disappear out from under me while riding it. At the time, I was about 2.5km from any city, so it made for quite a long run back to "generate" my vehicle again.

I wish I could count how many times mine has dissapeared from me. I have been revamping my skills to make way for more, and I'm hanging on to Novice Scout for the mere purpose of being able to mass produce camps to recall my vehicle. Pathetic, but true.

I just thought that watching my vehicle speed off without me on it was funny..

While we're on this subject, I had a similar experience. The first night that TheRealTK421 got his speeder bike I went out to accompany him in some joyriding. Just as we cleared a ridge and some treelines TheRealTK421 disappeared! However his bike was still there and moving. It was spooky to watch a lone speeder bike go off cliffs and fly around things without a driver on it. Really spooky.

I think we're on to something here. Creatures kick *edit* -always have. Droids suck *edit* -always have... Sum up- ANYTHING ELECTRONIC or CRAFTED BY A DE OR ARTISAN WILL SUCK *EDIT* And on the flip side... Anything bio-engineered or tamed will continue to kick *edit*

This guy wanted me to make him a speederbike and was asking if I could make one with a high durability. I went to my datapad to pull out my speederbike to show him the 90% one that I had so he could look at the stats. Well I had driven it a good amount checking harvestors and goin on missions and stuff. The health was like at the half way mark and some smoke was comming out the back for while at that point. Anyways, I pull the speeder out as I am saying to this guy. "I have very good materials, my bikes are very high quality!" So the speederdeployswith this giant KABOOM soundand sparks and flames are shooting everywhere. Of course when the smoke clears, there is my speederbike with this massive flame burnin out the ass end of it. Apperently that last -13 damage that occured when pulling it out, was enough to trigger the next level degraded speederbike stage where the flames start happenin. At this point, I had not seen a flameing vehicle yet and had no idea they do that at a certain damage level.

i hate it when i get off my speederbike and it launches me 100m forward

damnit am i missing something? is a speederbike a big gun and im the bullet???
