Currently Wondering if anyone has done a study on battery usage and droid recharge rates. From reading the posts, probots eat batteries and wondered if any other models were effected by this.

Currently the worst i heard is someone going through 10 batteries in a day on an R2 frame, which i assume is through constant usage.

Is it right that Batteries recharge/heal droid Mind pool? What are the factors effecting battery consumption?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Timber,

Best as I can tell, the batteries last roughly 20-30 min. of the droid being "called". I do not perceive that use of the droid of any type (crafting, moving it around with you, whatever) drains power any differently. Once called, it should have a static 'load' (amount) on the power draw from the battery.

The short answer is....get 2 droid battery crates and be done with it for awhile (or better yet, buy about 10 crates of 25 and stick them in your bank's safety deposit.

Thanks for the reply, I haven't got a problem with batteries, I can just build them when needed. The wuery really came from a customer on my server. I have a nice little power droid to help me recharge my guilds droids so we are generally ok,

By the sound of it though he must have the droid in constant use, so if batteries do allow 30 mins use or so, it's no surprise he is getting through so many

I know for my probot, it does ok until combat and then it really sucks the juice. It probably goes about two medium length battles before the check engine light comes on! I usually just recharge before every battle. If I am just walkin around, It takes a good while before it needs a battery.
