Ok.. this is a rumor I keep hearing... and I DO NOT belive it to be true and I am getting tired of people

asking about it... so Thundeheart please address this and kill this rumor once and for all....

How in the hell could they nerf droid engineer? Up the insane requirements? Take away probots completely? It's like beating a dead horse. And no, they won't take away a "fully featured" profession, there isn't any reason for that.

Actually, if anything, the very reverse of this is happening.

Droids and DEs are about to be the focus of many works of major fixes and improvements. I'm not sure that qualifies as a "nerf" unless we're talking about the massive influx of new DEs that will pretty well devalue droids to the point of being a base commodity.

I would say your "rumor" is pretty much false.

I wouldn't worry too much. Look at the improvements that were made to the BE profession. Imagine what they have in store for DE's.I hope it's great...

Anyone that's been on the DE boards for the last couple of months knows that DEs are in line for enhancements. Sounds like the the original poster was either extremely ignorant/paranoid or was a simple troll attempting to start rumors.

One thing that we must remember is we lack a correspondant (unless we got one today...). With out a correspondant, SOE is doing this on their own, with out asking us first (not that they would listen if we had one...)
