Hi all,

I was away from the board for several week for now and i was wondering ifi have missed something about the timeline of the changes for DE.
As there are no news in the board and it seems that, now, the january patch for DE change as been transformed in the first 2004 quarter according to stratics chat.
Which, by the way,seems more acurate as there are still no change on the test center and nothing will , normally , be put on live servers without at least one or two week of testing on.

Thanks to anyone who could give me a little hope to help me keep the DE way =)

Your observations are pretty much right on. We don't know much more than that.

Note that nothing of the Jan patch has landed on TC yet. We don't know anything about the upcoming changes other than the HAM specials cost change that was pulled from the last patch, and the announcements about the artisan-level food changes. So, there's still a good chance the changes for January will include droid changes. I would expect to see all that stuff arrive on TC around jan 5 or the week later, then two weeks of testing, for a patch release late Jan.

-Well what can I say... We wont see any DE changes until late March at best. And even then the changes wont be that magnificent.
They give us a little something at the end of first quarter just to shut us up and be able to say "We kept our promise, now be quiet!".

Well, the devs said that we would see the low to mid level combat droids in January.

It has been noted that this does not mean we will see them live.

Bottom line is that if we do get stuff in January, we will get the origonal plan that the devs proposed and many opposed.

Seems to me that there is a possibility of getting put off till later due to the combat system changes and as we all know, "Combat Comes First" for the Devs.

Considering the BE changes went on TC without even a warning is indicative of how the DE changes may come, without warning.

I'll keep everyone abreast of any changes that hit the Test Center, which is part of the many reasons that I decided to go there full time. This is only a guesstimate on my part, but here is what I see unfolding for the next patch...

Patch introduced to the Test Center on either January 7th or 14th.

Publish hits Live either January 28th, Febuary 4th or 11th.

If the patch hits TC next week, it will more than likely be pushed out on the 28th, if no major issues are found. Whether or not the new combat droids are pushed in this patch is up in the air, but I'm pretty sure that my dates are pretty accurate for the next publish. Then again.....only time will tell.
