Hello Fellow Droid Engineer's. Quick Question. I have a shop and im trying to make it so all my droids are visable in the shop,(Kinda like furnature where they stand there but dont do anything) but I dont know how to do it. I have made a Deed for a R5 Droid and want him to stand in my Shop. When i do this however its just the deed for the Droid. Can someone help out a fellow Droid Engineer? Thank You.

You can only drop frames. If your schematic is a picture of the droid, then it is probably an advanced frame and you can drop it like furniture once produced. Not all droids have frames that can be dropped.

And, sadly, this means you can't create display models for any droid that doesn't have a Chassis. So, no MSE, DZ20,WED Treadwell, or R5 displays.

However, if you are also a Merchant, you can place Droid Vendors - RoboBartender, WED Treadwell, Power Droid, Surgical Droid, and Protocol Droid. I've got the first two in my shop.

Under Droid Components, those with the designation "ADV" are droid chasis that can be dropped and placed like furniture. Just off the top of my head they are: R2, R3, R4, protocol, surgical, probot, BLL, and LE Repair. I may have missed one. Also, Seeker droids can be placed like furniture. The rest of the droids cannot be placed.

Most of the ADV droids can be static displayed, but not all. Yeah, it's very inconsistant and confusing (blame that on SOE).

In short::: Only chassis can be displayed statically, like in a house (Probot, R4, R3, R2, LE, Protocol, BLL, Surgical). The only exception to this is the seeker droid. Look in your crafting tool to see what **chassis** you can build. Those alone are the droids that can be displayed like furniture.

I wish they'd add a chassis for all droid types, even if some of them aren't actually used for advanced droids... either that or make the droid deeds look like the droid, in the way that Bio-Eng creature deeds look like the creature.

It's really hard for customers to pick the droid they want when they can't see all the options available. I used to keep one of each non-chassis type in my datapad so I could pull them out one at a time to show off, but eventually I needed my fully-loaded R3s and probot bodyguard.

So, let me get this straight: To advance my character, I have to give up my current abilities?
