A friendly neighborhood Armorsmith donated a bunch of Advanced Composite Armor Segments to me (yay!). Can these be used to make the Level 5 & 6 Armor Modules? Or do I need standard Composite Armor Segments?

(If it does work, I know there will be no extra effect on the Armor Modules.)

Now, if only I could find more Duralloy steel... Chilastra is running dry (unless you're a billionaire!).

I asked this a while back and was told that they just make normal armor modules. May as well use the regular, plain jane comp armor segments.

The Advanced Composite Segements work just fine for Level 5 & 6 Armor, however the armor stats will still come out the same. I'd suggest holding on to the Advanced Segments, if you have normal segments, until the droid patch hits. From a few comments that I have heard, droid armor might be getting reworked to allow for experimentation values to have an effect - might.

Hope this turns out to be true. Flexibility in armor resist types would make for more customization which means less cookie cutter droids. We'd see the same play in stats at play in armor suits.
