Thread: Value of a pre-nerf probot these days?
Hello to all you droid engineers out there:
I'm not and never have been a droid engineer. I am, however,the owner of a pre-nerf (yes, one of the very first nerfs back in august) probot -- one of the ones with over 3k ham. I seldom use him, and his vitality is in the high 80's last time I checked. I'm in need of cash for the jedi grind and am possibly looking to sell my bot on the Bria server. My dilemma is I need information as to how much, if anything, this bot is worth these days. I looked into selling him about a month and a half ago, and was toldI might get something in the high six figures. Since you guys know more about droids, I'd be interested in any thoughts you folks have about the value of this bot.

I would pay 100K for one, but don't think I would go over that. Reason being is that new droids are to be indtroduced in Jan and some "seriously high ones" in Feb. If the droids coming for Feb are anything worth thier salt, they will put the pre-nerf to shame.
I wouldn't mind having one, just to say I got one as long as it had the armor 6 and a personality chip installed.
We've been reading reports that current Probots and Pre-Nerf Probots are pretty similar in capability right now.
The big question is, what's its armor rating and resists?
On the Bria server, a light armor 12% resists have gone for around 100-150k
Medium armor with 40% resists around 250k
Because of that reduced vitality the price would be knocked off by around 20-25k I think, since youre getting near territory when the stats of the probot will change with more of a loss of vitality
If yours has 40% Resists and Medium Armor, you should sell it for no less than 400k, although I'd pay 500k for it on my server...
