Hi all, sorry if this is a stupid post, but I have only just started buying droids and this message bugs me something wicked!

Everytime I call a droid, a message:

"Your droid's customisation has completely disappeared"

appears onscreen. Also, every time I call a droid, they change color, seemingly randomly, looking different each time. This is bad enough in itself! I would love to know the reason for this message and if possible, how it can be stopped.

Also, what's the story with using power for droids. Have bought power units for them, but it never sems to make a difference to anything! What does it do, and how can I tell when my droid needs it, and how much?

Any help with the above problems would be greatly appreciated!

Everyone gets this message. It means that any paint job your droid might have had is now completely gone... Even if you've never had it painted.

As for power: Just give your droid a 'follow me' command. If it says *Low Power* it needs a recharge. There's no meter, unfortunately.

So if i get it painted, will this stop for a while? It's just annoying! If so how does one go about getting a droid painted? Is there any other way of stopping it? C'mon, tell me!

Yes, if you get your droid painted, the message will be stopped... for a little while.

In particular, the 'customization' lasts through 20 store/call cycles of the droid. Occasionally as this counts down, you will however get the in-game message "Your droid's customization fades a little more'.

Sorry, nothing we can do about it until the developers fix us. I just hope the fix does not leave us unable to father children.

Quandru, there's no need for that. It DOES take a few minutes to get a response sometimes, you know. The typing alone can eat up thirty seconds or longer! A little patience goes a long way.

so do I just go to a droid engineer to get my lad painted?

That's right. Most DE's will have customization kits around.

Does this mean, as I hope against hope, that I can use the kits myself, buy several, bring them with me, and stave off this infernal message for even longer? Or do my hopes come smashing to earth with a thud, and only DEs can use them?

Only DEs may use the kits.
