I know that you can't talk much outside the conversations with the Dev's on the Corr. Boards, but here's what really causing all the problems, and how to clear them up in one, difficult step.
DE's want to know.
Everyone here would like to see either combat droids > CL10, new utility modules, new droid chassis, or any mix of those three.
But what everyone really wants to know is... what is going to happen.
With Publish 8 being our last bit of "love" before they aim elsewhere, we DE's are in a crux. As far as we can tell, we got CL10 pets which are UNDENIABLY NOT on par with ANY other professions MAIN or one of their main products. Period. If BE's had only Pet Stims, Chef additives, Tailor Cloths, and CL10 pets, they'd revolt.
So we have a profession with a few handy utility modules, droids that will help the new player, not much else except a nerf, and a long history of BAD things.
Ok, great, fine, we've been OVER that ground many, many, many times in many, many, many threads.
What we want is a statement that says what's really going to, or what potentially can, happen in Publish 8.
Publish 8 is "supposedly" the end of the DE revamp. We just want to know! Is there any real possibility of >CL10's, new chassis, or more than those 4modules. They have potential, but they are in NO WAY enough to bring this into a class equal to other professions.
TK, I know you're under a HUGE amount of pressure, and frankly, I'd rather you didn't give us a statement. We just want a Redname to come and tell us whats really being done. No fancy lanugage, no spin doctoring, nothing but:
"As it is now, we want to do this, might do this, and have no real way to do this."
By a Developer. After that, I won't ask any questions of his response, I'd just like a straight forward statement.
Sorry if any part of this sounds like a flame, it's meant with the most respect, but many of us are gamers, and we don't want to spend 3 threads "decoding" a marketing message or a spin doctored statement, especially from SOE's Spin Doctors and their +25 Ebil Language Manipulation SEA's.
Please just ask for a generalized statement saying with a general feeling whether we might (with Publish 8 or how far in the future if ever) get new chassis, >CL10, or newer/more Utility modules.
ps. If a dev does response, please don't comment/flame, unless they ask for comments. And then just respond with comments, not flames.
