I know now why we DE's were given combat droids.... last night on Gorath in Theed there was a Droid INvasion by the Trade Fedaration..... 50k HAM Battle Droids spawned one after another oneshotting every citizen of theed....

we have been given the power to make combat R3's to hold back the onslaught...

What are our 1600 HAM R3's gonna do against a 50K HAM Battle Droid?

Swarm them like in the books. Like R2-D2 did in the new Rebellion hundreds of R-units swarmed Red Terror Security/galatroial/battle droids.

Answer: nothing at all.
Reason: because that's not what R3s are meant to fight.

actually its 84k for battle droids, 150k for super battle droids, and something rediculous for the boss.

oh, and they had better than ar0 20%... much better...mostly 80% a couple 100%, i think electricity was 25%.

Wait, what? Alderaan was destroyed and R2-D2 and C-3PO are just standing there in front of the escape pod doing nothing instead of running around on the death-star with Luke Skywalker and the gang, which seem to know about this Princess that got kidnapped due to their super-human psychich powers: Luke left because even though he had no droids, GK-578 had a crappy day at work and his girlfriend dumped him so he decided to go kill some random people and blow up a house. Luke and his pals have been on their trip to the death star since *checkswatch and remembers when the first story curve involving Alderaan's explosion started* last August or September, not to mention that is REAL-TIME and not the in-game days. Meanwhile, the Trade Federation on Naboo (which was destroyed a century before) led by Darth Sidius, the Emperor of the Empire, is invading Theed, where the Stormtroopers, led by Darth Sidius, the Emperor of the Empire, try to fight off the invasion.

Well, this makes perfect sense. But only if the story DEVs give me some of whatever they're smoking.

Lol, jk, they're doing a pretty good job on it.

im not talking about teh correlian corvette dungeon... im tlaking about a event that occured.. not sure how many servers.. but on Gorath some Aggro NPC showed up and started ranting. everyone jsut kind of stared at him and read what he was saying.... some stuff about the citizens of theed will pay etc etc and then the 50k HAM battledroids came and attacked the city adn tried to tkae over the palace... about 50 people in theed were trying to fend them off... it was beautiful.. in case it didnt happen on your server or you missed it tehre is a thread on gorath forum about it

Happened on Ahazi as well...raving madman (to whom I spoke ) talked about how he finally had the plans, something about access codes if I remember, and then BAM - massive amount of Droidekas and Battle Droids assaulted. Lots of random messages about the droids assaulting the palace came up, and eventually one saying "On an unsecured channel the message "Roger Roger, Super Battle Droid prepared for main assault" came up...so we rushed the palace; I'd estimate 50-100 of us. Got into the throne room and there was Spanky the Super Battle Droid. After a good 10-15 minutes of fighting he went down. Not sure what he dropped; if anything - there was mention of a head....<shrug>

I have screenshots, but nowhere to host. Toss me an email at: [email protected] if you want me to send 'em to ya either to host or simply to look at .

Very exciting for me, being as I just started playing last week...although in multiple places in said screenshots people are telling me "You're a DE! This is all your fault!" and stuff....jokingly, of course. I simply replied "heh, if I built these, you think I'd be attacking Theed with em!?".
