Thread: For whom will this Publish determine their continuation of SWG?
Dunno yet, personally i'm waiting for City of Heroes to go live. (Beta rocks, btw) Depending on state of affairs in SWG and the level of wow-ness in CoH, I will either try to play both - give up SWG. Alas, I've been looking forward to a game like SWG since the first time I saw a Star Wars film (some 25+yrs ago - eeek i feel old), but this is starting to feel less like star wars and more like a money / time sink that just happens to be star wars flavored. No, the DE issues aren't all I have with this game - i could list tons. Nor can i say that i haven't had fun playing here, because i have. But at this point the newness has worn off, tedium has set in, and the rose colored glasses are gone. I will however try to remain positive and constructive for as long as my tenure here lasts.
Definatly for me.
The game has become more of a chore as of late, and the reasons to quit are fast outweighing the reasons to play. Since im probably leaving home for the next few years stable internet isnt easy to come by, especialy where im going. Where i might normally have made the effort to secure internet i might aswell not bother if the games not worth playing Its the only real thing you would need extended internet connections for.
I'll probably see what happens with the space expansion before i cancel my account, thats the last saveing grace of the game, if done correctly. Im waiting for patch 8 to see if the game is worth playing in between.
If its a dissapointment i see no reason to retain my profession, to wait another 10 months isnt worth it, under no circumbstances.
