there must be like 5 master de's on my server........no 2!
i'm glad the whines of the few go first!!!!
have you guys sold any droids at all in the last month?
i bet that half of the stuff won't even work

You know... Not everyone is playing SWG to do combat. And let me ask you this.
When you do combat, do you use armor, weapons, healkits? How do you get rid of your wounds and battlefatigue?
I am sure you feel that your profession dont get anything useful in this patch and I am sorry about that. But this is the second DE patch. The first added a little combat oriented DE materials and a crapload of new specific resources. This adds a bundle of utility modules and I hope no new specific resources. YOur profession may be broken but so is every profession. Your time will come.
These additions are very useful. And this is something many DE's have been asking for. I find most on the list useful to both DE's and non DE's.
And I have heard that droid HAMS will be higher as well. 5k HAM droids and such.
That your server have a low number of DE's is unfortunate. But I am sure others will pick up the DE profession as this moves closer to live.
As for me selling droids... Yeah. since patch 7 I have sold maybe6-8 droids a week. Not much? well before patch 7 I sold maybe 5 or so. Will this patch increase my sales?
It sure will.

Oh I don't know... Some of the new modules listed look interesting and, when they get'em working right, I'll deffinately be looking for droids that have them.

Haha, I'd rather these folks have something to complain about DEs than nothing!

We have waited a LONG time for this update. Non-DEs, the best move for you right now would be to make good friends with the few existing DEs on your galaxy! NOW! =P

Last stats I've seen from SOE, 80% of the player aren't even in one faction (imp or reb, covert and overt included).
So, all this Galactic war and PvP issues...
As far as I know, you didn't have to wait from beta to be able to fight.
So, go buy a wookie armor and **edit**

making droids useful is something that affects everyone. this is star wars.
i for one am ecstatic. i think the new changes are going to be awesome...
but...
why cant i put numbers in my droids name!

Actually I've sold at least 20+ since pub 7 and you know what not one of them has been a combat droid. So I'm actually really happy about pub 8. Forgive me but it seems like they out to make the droids as useful to everyone as they could, not just the combaters. Two thumbs up Devs keep up the good work
