Thread: Droid Revamp Thanks TH
TH,
Thanks for making my R2 a battlebot. Now I feel just like I am playing on TV!
Thanks for giving me costly Repair Kits which use very rare resourcesto heal my battlebot which has no chance against anything more than a durni lair.
Thanks for giving me the ability to call my battlebot whenever needed so that I may have it kill a durni lair.
Thanks for making my Repair Droid a Blackbelt in ancient Japanese combat. He can really romp on those gubber now!
Thanks for taking away the ability which allowed me to paint my droid chassis. One of the few markets I was able to step my foot into.
Thanks for allowing me to build a BLL Droid, the most massive, most resource consuming and most costly droid able to hold one module.
Thank you for making my DZ70 droid the equivalent of a flying pair of baterry powered nose hair clippers in combat.
Thank you TH and Dev team. For this you deserve a round of applause.

If we're not careful...nothing.

A quick round of applause you say?
Theydid manage to perform a partial rectal-cranial seperation it appears (I refer to the recent Pub 8 notes.)

BUT! When you have had a busted profession since launch you don't get applause for fixing it.
For example: If the dishwasher in your house was broke for 10 months because the landlord refused to fix it you might not move out - but when he finally did repair it so that it 'SORT OF' worked you wouldn't necessarily be all warm and mushy for the guy.
The jury is out till live. They can still drop the ball by requiring ridiculously rare resources or insanely complex factory builds for these modules. Granted the existing modules are quite functional and require no special contortions at all until level 5 & 6... but you never know what will happen.
