I want to say, although I was not entirely convinced that the droid invasion would take on the proper form of fixes, that I was pleasantly surprised.

Sure, our issues are not completely addressed....yet, sure it wasn't perfect.

However, we have taken a giant leap forward, and I think the developers, and Thunderheart, should hear fromus allwith a nice PM thanking them for the things of late that really do make our gameplay better.

Post them here if you like, but it's more important they know. They deserve a quick round of applause.

TH,

Thanks for making my R2 a battlebot. Now I feel just like I am playing on TV!

Thanks for giving me costly Repair Kits which use very rare resourcesto heal my battlebot which has no chance against anything more than a durni lair.

Thanks for giving me the ability to call my battlebot whenever needed so that I may have it kill a durni lair.

Thanks for making my Repair Droid a Blackbelt in ancient Japanese combat. He can really romp on those gubber now!

Thanks for taking away the ability which allowed me to paint my droid chassis. One of the few markets I was able to step my foot into.

Thanks for allowing me to build a BLL Droid, the most massive, most resource consuming and most costly droid able to hold one module.

Thank you for making my DZ70 droid the equivalent of a flying pair of baterry powered nose hair clippers in combat.

Thank you TH and Dev team. For this you deserve a round of applause.

If we're not careful...nothing.

If we're not careful...nothing.

And if you're really good and pretend they're paying you money instead of the other way around, and act accordingly ......

Well, still nothing, but the devs will be thrilled.

Well, they will at least be bombs. Of course this may in turn bomb lots of other things.

Yea patch 7 did as much if not more harm than good to my business, if i could turn around and reject the changes and go back to it was the days before, i would. Patch 8 threatens to uhmm.. suck.. aswell. That is if whats been announced is the extent of the changes, which there probably not, but hey we dont have reason to believe otherwise yet.

A quick round of applause you say?

Theydid manage to perform a partial rectal-cranial seperation it appears (I refer to the recent Pub 8 notes.)

http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/recent_test_updates.jsp?page=In%20Testing

BUT! When you have had a busted profession since launch you don't get applause for fixing it.

For example: If the dishwasher in your house was broke for 10 months because the landlord refused to fix it you might not move out - but when he finally did repair it so that it 'SORT OF' worked you wouldn't necessarily be all warm and mushy for the guy.

The jury is out till live. They can still drop the ball by requiring ridiculously rare resources or insanely complex factory builds for these modules. Granted the existing modules are quite functional and require no special contortions at all until level 5 & 6... but you never know what will happen.

I still say make it so my MSE droid can by my shuttle and starport tickets and we won't EVER be able to build enough droids!

And my other favorite -- CAN WE STOP using water based paint??? What is with this FADE nonsense?? I don't NEED to sell paint kits THAT bad!
