I had a guy sit in my house in game for 5 hours while he grinded adv frame units and I grinded through Architect. I think all in all he finished in about 8 hours of game time, maybe less. I was pretty amazed.

I grinded through the ADV BLL chassis, but you really have to do some prep work in factories. You can do it concurrently, but you will probably need about 3 factories running.

Thanks for the mention of staying on advanced frame units. I dont have the factories to place for prep work.

I've seen the grind suggestions for DE, but now with changes is it accurate? I'm running out of time to craft through to jedi, and am looking for a guide.

Whats the best path to craft through DE now with the revamp?

Thanks so much in advance. I have looked through the forums for the last week leading up to this but havent seen it.

Same as before, the revamp didnt add to much. Same as before MSE droids or manipulator arms to blueprints two, The Advanced frame units till bluprints 4, and a hell of alot of BLL chassis till you hit master. You can do it in a day once you have all the parts ans resourses.

I looked through the forums but didnt see the answer. I've mastered merchant, I have 2 vendors I want to keep. Can I drop all merchant and still keep my vendors or do I need to keep novice?

You can keep them for now if you drop all merchant. This will be corrected shortly in a future publish however. In general, it is considered an abuse/exploit to do so, but it is within the game design and is not bannable or anything.

LOL

Here we go again.

Again people that love screwing with the Merchant profession.

Yes. The game will allow you to keep the vendors you steal once you leave Merchant. But know this. SOE has confirmed that this is an exploit of a bug in the game. I suggest you don't. Otherwise don't come crying to any merchant when your stuff is deleted when the patch for the bug deletes your entire inventory from the deleted vendors.

Sheesh! Did I ask to exploit? No. I simply asked what I need to keep if I want to retain 2 vendors. A simple novice merchant would have been good enough. ...ask a simple question, get my head bit off. I can keep what is required to maintain my vendors.

The nature of the question you posed was enough to convince me you plan on exploiting the merchant profession, whether on purpose, or by accident. For me, that should not shield you from the harsh realities of my reply.

I'm glad that you are concidering at least keeping novice merchant. I do have a question, though. Do you plan on downgrading your vendors to those you can legally place as if you did not have the recruiting branch? If you do not, the consession is hollow, and I have nothing but harsh words for you.

well i still have master merchant but dropped all but 2 vendors. at some point i dropped clothes on them and i cant get those off. i never found it beneficial to register them, so i'm thinking you are referring to ad barking. Honestly, i had forgotten about that. Perhaps what I will do is change them to the protocol droid, it's mute anyway

dawned on me you meant vendor type? So your question is will I go back down to a bulky robot vendor? The answer is no. Just like a schematic I've made for my factories from professions I've mastered, it still works. If you have a factory going of weapon upgrade kits from novice weaponsmith, the factory doesnt stop working once you give up novice.
