Droid Engineer Archive

First off I'd like to say that I own a droid and am loving it. He is my bounty hunting partner and doesn't do any fighting (except when he shoots people in the back; no, I do not exaggerate this, this is after I tell him to stay too hahah)

Anywho, my poor partner is startin to wear down in vitality. He and I have survived tons of scraps, and my probot has literally jumped in front of me to put himself between me and a deathblow a few times, saving my life (I still don't know how he manages to survive himself... guess that's why we are partners)

Can someone help me out or let me know?

But last I heard, a BE vitality pack (for a pet) currently works on droids...

I'm assuming you mean your droid has black bars in his HAM bars. In that case, you need to find somebody with a droid who has a droid repair module and have it fix your droid. Most likely a DE would have one of these droid, but on the rare ocassion other players might (usually they bought it thinking the droid would repair itself, which it won't). Just ask around. I also thought that droids would heal over time if stored, but I've heard rumors that this is no longer happening (more business for us! Hehe).

And yes, it has been mentioned that BE vitality packs work on droids. Gop figure =p.

Believe it or not, I bought a vitality pack off of a Bio-Engineer and used it on my droid in the datapad (the option shows up to use it) and now he's at 98 Vitality (restored from 88/100). So this is an official confirmation.

This is utter BS. A droid engineer should make DROID vitality packs; a friken super large needle shouldn't even work on a droid... oh well. I am rooting for you droid engineers; can't wait for droidekas $$$ (I just loved how they looked on screen in the movies)

I can assure you BE Vit Packs work on driods, that is my primary profession.

Does it make sense? Nope, but little else in this game does either.
