Thread: Newbie question, Droid harness????
The slot you are asking about is for a module. Any module will do.

I think I have some idea of what you mean...
Basically, the names of the items we make do not correspond exactly to the names of the items the schematic slots call for.
However, there are ONLY three categories of items we can plug into droids, so it's not too tough to get it straightened out.
1) Armor slots: These are called something like 'Defensive module socket' or something, and take 'Droid Armor x' modules.
2) General sockets: These are the 'other' ones on most of our droids, with one available on a basic MSE and (I think) three on an advanced R4. Crafting stations, storage modules, repair modules, data modules and medical modules all go into these slots. There is currently a bug/feature that allows cluster modules to fit into general sockets.
3) Cluster sockets: A specialized socket that will *only* accept a 'General Droid Socket Cluster' module, whichis a crafted item that has three general sockets in it. This allows for greater function in a smaller space.
So when you see 'service harness' or some such, it HAS to fall into one of the above three categories.
Moduels are called "Droid Service Module Harness" on the schematics
Tks guys, I belive that answered my question. I was thinking that harness was somthing I had to build and install at time of production. From these post I get the idea that this is just the spot you install armour mods or crafting mods or the like.
Tks again, it was a big help.
