First Post

I've read the FAQ and have been quietly grinding advanced droid frame units. I'm also a few hundred app XP away from master artisan. Does anyone have recommendations on the progression of bubbles I should get next? Should I finish blueprints? Switch to production or construction? I'd like to open a shop in the near future selling something that someone finds valuable.

Thanks,

Ywi

Well, my two cents would be to get to 3/3/0/3 next...

You want to be able to sell good droids ASAP. Now, to do so, you will need to be able to put in crafting modules (first), then medical modules.

You can sell crafting R5's for a good price (I don't do mice, and don't advocate that others do them either). Once you get a cluster, you can stack medical modules.

Just my two cents - but I think that you will find that you can make some money making the mobile crafting stations.

Here's how I went. It seemed pretty good to me. Just know that you will run missions to support yourself for a while.

0 0 0 4

2 2 0 4 - Right here is where you start to make sales really

3 3 0 4 - From here on out you can sell well if you want

3 34 4 - I did this because I wanted to decorate my shop with better colorful chassis

4 3 4 4 - Armor 4 is all you need anyway so save that armor 5 box for last

Master

Hope that helps.

I'd recommend getting to Blueprint 3, then Production1. Blueprint 3 will let you craft the basic Probot for your own protection as well as some of the advanced droids to sell. Production 1 will give you the general crafting module that acts like a private crafting station. This is a real gem and saves me a lot of running to get to a station because at BP3 and higher you need it for a lot of the droids or the components in them.

After that some argue for Working towards Construction 2 to get the food/chem crafting module which is always a big seller among medi mod droids. I then did production to tier 3, finished blueprints and now I'm just working on the rest when the mood strikes me.

forget refinement. In my life as a DE I've had... 1 order for decorative chassis (actually 2, but the second I couldn't fulfill because I couldn't color red). Leave that for almost last.

No matter what choice you make, all your orders will be for the one choice you didn't take, it's Murphy's Law and you just can't beat it

I'd go for the refinement tree last. It's all fluff anyway.

Be carefull there. Look at what may happen to the harvesters - well, probably won't, but they were going to use the old material/experimentation values for the hopper effectiveness on pre-existing hoppers.

For this reason, I would suggest that you use the best materials you can afford, and also, that you experiment up as much as you can - even if it doesn't show up now, it is stored information, and may become part of the droids stats in the future.

The Refinement tree was the 2nd tree I went up after doing Blueprints. This gave me good colors to sell my droid frames, which supported my crafting habit. I also had the incentive of several friends placing very large orders to decorate their homes, whereby funding my crafting habit.

I think which tree comes next depends on what you wares you want to try to sell to make money, but most folks go Blueprints first and Refinement last. Which of the other two comes next isa toss up.

I kind of agree with Sketh. Getting the third Blueprints lets you make Probots, Surgical Droids, R2 units....basically the best stuff. The fourth level of Blueprints doesn't really offer you much more....an R3 unit, great. Binary Load Lifter, worthless. Protocol Droid, equally so. Advanced Probot....not really necessary but can be useful for putting modules into it.

Otherwise, definately start on your Module lines. As Sketh said, crafting stations will be a big seller, as will be Medical Modules. Armor 4 allows you to make Medium Armored Probots, and stacking two of them gives the best armor possible.
