Hi,

I'm a droid engineer and a merchant. I want to make an inactive droid that i can use as a display model in my shop. The thing is that I have no idea how to do this.

Can anyone tell me?

A quick search in the forum will answer that question as its asked almost daily.

You'll need to make a droid chassis.

No kidding, Vuri take a chill pill man. Sheesh go play some other game so you can take out your aggressions without coming here to be an ass. There are PLENTY of people in the world that need that more than this poor person.

Hmm. I'm not seeing why I should be the one taking the "chill pill". My original post was not rude or mean. It was stated matter-of-factly with a smile at the end showing that I wasn't trying to be mean (just in case people read more into it than I intended). I then simply explained myself to the one person that felt it was inappropriate for me to guide someone to the forums "Search" function.

I'm not sure how many forums you're part of or how long you've been online, but using the Search capability of a forum is standard practice and is appreciated by members to help cut down on repetative posts (this particular post being a perfect example of that). It was nothing against the original poster. What I don't understand is why you think its so out of line to point a newb to the search function of the forum. Its there for a reason.

So, in regards to your non-aggressive and totally not-being-an-ass reply, please show me where I displayed any "aggression" or where I was being an "ass" to anyone in this thread.

If you read xeno's response, you'll see that it took less than half the effort to just answer the question than it did to try to "teach the OP a lesson" and was completely effective (read: helpful) to boot.

I supposed you feel there isn't already enough posts flying around on these boards that we should support people asking common questions over and over again that could be found with a simple search? Its not that hard. And to say I was "hoarding" is silly. I gave the guy a suggestion that would lead him to his answer in a matter of clicks. Its not like its hard to find. If it was hard to find, and I knew the information, I'd share it.

This may be a stupid question but I have looked all over the forums for an answer and have not found it. How do you display the droid chassis such as I see in some shops?

A droid chassis is an actual component for advanced models of droids (most of them that is, not mouse, dz-70, treadwell or R5s). You just make the chassis and drop it.
