Hello all. I have a customer on Starsider that is requesting a 20 item storage droid with a customized finish. I put on my best "I am an unofficial SOE database for bugs and game issues" face and started my littany of this doesn't work because..and I can't do this because...and this resource has never existed so I can't...and one day in the far future I will be able to... Yes, it is tiresome, I know, and I'm not here to moan about it anymore, I've resigned myself to roleplaying in my community and not thinking about my profession for now.

Anyway, after my diatribe, my customer tells me that two weeks ago, on another server she bought exactly the droid she was describing to me. 20 items of storage, fully customized for color. Not on the test center, I checked that at least. She couldn't remember the server name, however.

Can anyone shed light on this little situation for me?

Sounds wrong to me... I've never gotten beyond 10 item storage regardless of what modules I used, and have never been able to color customize. I know color worked for some time, and some droids. Here on Bria, we don't seem to have the resources for level 5+ Item and Data Modules, so I can't tell for sure.

Starsider has no lidium extrusive ore, either. I have to use two level 4 storage modules to get 10 item storage.

Maybe she asked for a gold protocol droid with a data module.

Do you remember why they made droids 'deedable'? Was it to limit the number a person could own?

Tell her that must be some great spice she's on! Item storage is capped at 10 items, 2 level 6's in a droid will still yield a result of 10 items. If such a change occured where20 item storage is allowed, I'm sure it would be in the patch notes and definately quite a few posts about it here in our forum.

I don't ever recall color customization working after release. From what I've heard it worked fine in Beta, but then they decided to go with droids being deeded andit broke some stuff.

I was playing during beta and I can say they broke A LOT of stuff from beta-end to gold-start.
